If You’re Feeling Stuck, Read This
If you’re here because something feels stuck—your ideas, your motivation, your creativity—I want you to know this first:
You’re not alone in that feeling.
Creative energy doesn’t always move in a straight line. Sometimes it flows easily, and other times it becomes quiet… still… almost like it’s waiting.
And in those moments, it can be easy to think something is wrong.
But nothing is wrong.
You are not behind.
You are not failing.
You are not “less creative” than you were before.
You are simply in a pause.
And pauses are part of the process.
Sometimes being stuck means you’ve been pushing too hard.
Sometimes it means you need rest.
Sometimes it means something new is forming, just beneath the surface, not quite ready to be seen yet.
Instead of trying to force your way forward, what if you softened into where you are?
What if, instead of asking “Why can’t I create?”
you gently asked, “What do I need right now?”
Maybe the answer is to step away for a little while.
Maybe it’s to create something small and imperfect.
Maybe it’s to return to what inspired you in the first place.
There is no single right way back.
You don’t have to find your whole path again today.
You don’t have to finish anything.
You don’t have to prove anything.
You only need to take one small step.
Open the sketchbook.
Write one sentence.
Play with color.
Let it be light. Let it be simple.
Let it be enough.
Creativity hasn’t left you.
It’s still there—quiet, patient, and waiting for you with open hands.
And when you’re ready, even just a little…
It will meet you there.
With warmth,
Paisley Dragon
